My husband and I are what I like to call “recovering pack rats” who got married and had two kids in two-and-a-half years. Along with being pack rats, I’m a bargain-hunter, he’s a “fixer,” and we’re both extremely sentimental.
When we got married, we merged two (small yet full) apartments into one. When our first child was born, we squeezed baby gear into our apartment. When our second baby was born, we squeezed in even more. Our children are the only grandchildren on either side, so gifts are coming in pretty regularly, as you might imagine.
We love life, and we do life fully. Being heavily involved, we’re often on the run (and often trying to find the missing shoe or a water bottle to grab and go).
I am a stay-at-home mom,
juggling balancing health, nutrition, organization, budget, and personal growth for my family.
We are a recipe for a messy, chaotic home. We are a perfect storm.
Here, you’ll find my antidotes and anecdotes for life as it was, and life as I’d like it to be. I’m not where I’d like to be, but by the grace of God, I’m not where I used to be!
