It’s amazing how even the first few days of a routine, though constantly policed by the check list, can be so invigorating.
Today, after completing my seven items, I also managed to de-clutter the majority of my kitchen counter! (For now, we’ll ignore the “keep” box full of now-homeless items.)
I’m learning about setting myself up for success with things like 1) washing all the dishes the night before, and 2) making sure I have a laundry basket ready to load or unload in my bedroom.
The next step toward the 7×7 goal is to wake up and actually get it done by 7:00 am. However, this comes back to setting myself up for success and not staying up past midnight. Coffee might help, too.
